I can only repeat what I said in my first review (and what all others say in their reviews) - its Awesome! The food is delicious and the hosts are so wonderful. This time, I invited two friends who were Eatwith newbees. Both of them were absolutely amazed, and said it was a very special experience with absolutely delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. Jose and Angel- thanks for making is so special and sharing your passion with us Highly recommended

I booked this dinner with my husband and four other friends. We thought it could be a great opportunity to catch up over a splendid meal and the ‘Peruvian Anthology’ exceeded everyone’s expectations! This is the finest Peruvian meal I’ve ever enjoyed in London and the setting could not be better: the beautiful house of Jose and Angel, two Peruvians architects, in the stunning neighbourhood of Primrose Hill. Jose, the chef, offered us a truly unique journey through meticulously picked flavors, ingredients and techniques from three different regions in Peru. The menu is truly a celebration of the richness and diversity of Peruvian cuisine. One of the starters consisted in three delicious tamales made with Andean corn: Ocopa herb (green), purple corn and white corn. The dessert (Mazamorra morada, a delicious corn pudding made of Peru’s unique purple corn) traces its origins back to colonial times. The sea-bass ceviche (a staple dish from the coast) was marinated with one of the richest tiger milks I have ever had. It made us all want to drink the juice directly from our plates! Jose gave it the perfect touch by adding crunchy cancha (toasted corn kernels) on top, as it is commonly served in Peru. Then, when we thought the starters were insuperable, we had the superb main course, Tiger prawns with Aji Panca sauce blended in caramelized onions, garlic and coriander. Lastly, a special mention should also go to the two exceptional hosts. José and Angel took the time to tell us the history behind each dish. They also went to great lengths to ensure we had the best experience possible, for example, when using a limited edition of pisco (a typical Peruvian spirit) to prepare a pisco sour cocktail. I can’t recommend enough this Peruvian experience! Also, remember that a great option if you go with friends is to book a ‘private party’ through the page (you’ll need to be 8 people minimum). Enjoy!
