Tout était plus que parfait ! L'accueil, le cadre, les explications du chef, les anecdotes culinaires, les mets d'une qualité irréprochable ! Une expérience inoubliable à faire absolument !!!
Excellent evening. Everything was superb. Food, drink and the company.
Jean-Yves was very entertaining and engaging. He gave thorough descriptions of each dish and their components, which were all derived from different parts of the globe, making for interesting flavors. The setting is unique and unexpected in the city. The evening is perfect for small to medium sized groups.

What an amazing evening! What a new gastronomical experience for the two of us! Jean-Yves is the most accomplished fusion chef I’ve ever had the privilege to meet! I mean how often does the average person get to eat at the personal table of the winner of MasterChef? Jean-Yves restaurant/home is a beautifully converted wine cellar and quite easy to find. We were warmly welcomed at the door by Jean-Yves and his Sous Chef, Fred. We were escorted down to the beautiful decorated dining area. For our evening there would be only 4 of us- which turned into a very intimate evening full of fun and laughter as we got to know each other over the most incredible food I’ve ever tasted! Jean-Yves made the evening so interesting... he told us how his dishes were conceived, then made... he hadh us actively participate as we had to guess what delicate flavors were crossing our palates! From the very first aperitif to the last morsel of the most scrumptious dessert on the planet, our group reveled in the food and the company! The innovation in the cooking was second to none. We loved every morsel and if there had been any more room in our very full bellies, I believe we would have all loved to try a second serving of it all! Did I mention that there were also perfectly paired wines with each course as well! If you are in Paris and, like us, are serious food lovers and willing to step out of your normal comfort zone, you will never regret putting yourself in the hands of this premier chef! I tried things I never thought I would and loved it all! We learned so much about the proper preparation of food and Some of the “tricks” to take a dish from “good” to “sublime”! My one regret is that we won’t be in Paris long enough for me to take a Macarons class from Jean-Yves!But i promise you, if we ever get the chance to return to Paris, one of the first things we will do is get a booking with Frenchy Taste! Thank you Jean-Yves and Free for the fabulous food and thanks also to Julian and Teresa, our new friends, for the fun night of laughter and conversation!
