Our afternoon with Marina was exceptional. She ventured through neighborhoods to show us the wonderful local meat, seafood and produce markets as well as stops where could see the making of delicious pastries and taste the results! We also made visits to neighborhood deli for cheeses and meats,mezzos, bakery for wonderful sweets and a coffee shop with traditional coffee. All in all an excellent experience. We highly recommend this tour.

Marina managed to arrange an evening with John, Stavros and all of the team at Pantopolion Deli. This was the first time we have ever done something like this and it was really quite a treat so we'll defiantly be doing it again! Marina and John were really knowledgeable about all of the produce we tried and it came from all over Greece so we feel quite honoured to have tried such a variety of unusual delicacies. The discussions about olive oil and tasting were also really interesting and covered some finer points for usage that we'd never really considered. My wife is vegetarian, whereas the rest of our family eat meat and Marina and John did a superb job of providing authentic Greek food with lots of variety that kept everyone happy. (My boys agree that their favourite was the pork dish by the way!). All in all a lovely time with great hosts and some really delicious food. If you are reading this and wondering if you should try it I would highly recommend booking for a great experience.
