I’m a seaman from Venice and like every true Venetian I love good company and good food. And what else could a seaman do on shore than cooking fish? Did you ever have a seaman as a cook? I’ve been to many places of the world (at least the ones with a harbour) - probably also to your hometown – but I never get tired of getting to know new people.

The experience with Massimo was spectacular! We enjoyed his company, personality and expertise and especially the food! Our friends are so envious when we show them the video of Massimo showing us how to make pasta and focaccia bread, taught to him by his grandmother. The seafood he prepared was excellent and the side dishes of buffalo mozzarella and other cheeses, home-grown tomatoes, and a delicious green salad were fresh and very tasty. Massimo was very accommodating to our particular food requests, as well. Very enjoyable, well-organized and entertaining host! Grazie mille, Massimo! Mahalo from Lisa & Len

Massimo was a really great host. Food was fresh and tasty. However, i would only pay 40€ due to the size of portions. It would be perfect if the 2 starters and dessert plates were full and did not have just 1 clam or 1 small baba. Also coffee or tea with dessert would complement the full experience. All in all we loved the whole experience. The main course was delicious. We loved to hear the cooking tips. If you want to find a home in Venice, Massimo's place is the place! We would come back for a lower price. Grazzie Mille Massimo!
