As a foreigner I have now come to understand that I go places with the tastes of my food! Like reading a good book... It takes you places. I suppose I'm always taking myself home when I cook. Having lived for 21 years in New York City, I have been exposed to and learned to cook foods and tastes, from many different countries, which I have learned to love… And when I make those dishes, from all of those other places, it's like to being back in New York… I love providing that same experience to people and/or introducing them to new experiences through their taste buds. My friends and family have always asked me when I'm I going to open my own restaurant, at least cater… But that's not what I want… I love cooking in my own kitchen, at home, and including my friends and loved ones in the experience.
