From the former Head Chef of Vanilla Black comes Eleven98: a Hackney-based social dining experience enjoyed at The Chef's Table or at some of the coolest spots across the London borough of Hackney. We always kick off proceedings with a quirky welcome cocktail and serve bespoke multi-course tasting menus, sometimes with drinks pairings. The truly unique concept of Eleven98 is that we source all of our produce from within the borough of Hackney! This means that everything plant-based on the menu will have been literally cultivated or foraged within a mile or two of where you'll be eating it! Lots of the veg and herbs are grown in Aidan's own allotment too, and his passion for sustainability and permaculture principles is visible throughout every aspect of the Eleven98 experience.

Aidan’s menu was one of the best I’ve ever had the chance of experiencing. The chefs’ passion and dedication to fresh, local and high quality ingredients comes through in every bite. Not only did his food taste amazing, it challenges your senses and palet - in the best way possible. You’ll find dishes that you could never find on a restaurant menu, and to me that’s reason enough to go again! I definitely recommend going to Aidan’s event. Everything from the welcome drink to the desert was outstanding!

Absolutely delicious! Aidan’s knowledge of ingredients sourcing and the care & attention that goes into the relationships with producers was clearly evident and translated to a considered menu. The courses were also well timed enabling us to enjoy the incredible food in its entirety while still allowing us to move around the space to catch up and enjoy each other’s company. Would highly recommend others to plan an event like this. Many thanks for an exceptional evening.

What an incredible evening! The food was outstanding. Aidan's passion for local produce and creativity made for some very special dishes. I can't decide what was my favourite between the pickled brasicas or the duck in miso. He also made special considerations for the more fussier eaters of the group too. Anne, who was front of house, was fantastic, very knowledgeable and patient with us playing musical chairs and asking for lots of photos. The venue was absolutely stunning. I just think this is such a great concept especially for celebrating with a large group. It takes the headache out of a lot of the planning and the bill. It was a very memorable birthday; thank you guys!!
