I love learning about new cuisines and techniques for cooking. I like exploring new flavours and the heritage of food. I’m also interested in art, architecture, sport and 1980s music!! I'm not a trained chef but I spent a lot of time back of house in kitchens talking to chefs about texture, flavour, and preparation. I cook food that is seasonal and I'm focused on healthy, quality food. The most memorable meals I've eaten have been eggplant stew in Timor Leste, thali plate in Amritsar, Kingfish carpaccio when I first arrived in Melbourne, stuffed zucchini flowers, Japanese curry with crumbed pork, injera bread. There's probably more!
